: ON THE CAPPELLLEEMILLER GLUING THEOREM
Abstract : We prove a generalization of the Cappell-Lee-Miller theorem which we formulate using a new language, of asymptotic maps and asymptotic exact sequences. We also present applications to eigenvalue estimates, approximation of obstruction bundles and gluing of determinant line bundles arising frequently in gauge theory.
