    Un estudio etnográfico de usuarios de heroína: el uso de práctica reflexiva

    El siguiente trabajo es un ejercicio reflexivo sobre una experiencia de investigación etnográfica sobre usuarios/as de heroína realizado en un barrio de Barcelona entre los años 1994-1997. El objetivo es hacer «objetivable» el conocimiento (aspecto que correspondería a una dimensión racional-epistemológica y ético-política). Concretamente, a través de: a) señalar procedimientos que permita conectar al auditorio o lectores con la experiencia particular de la investigadora, b) cuestionar la propia práctica de producción de conocimiento psicosocial, y c) explorar los «yoes» o subjetividades en el proceso investigador. El marco teórico han sido perspectivas postestructuralistas. Losdatos se han recogido a través de observación participante (5 libretas) y 44 entrevistas en profundidad. Como resultado del análisis se confrontan dos formaciones discursivas: «naturalizadora» cuestiones sensoriales, farmacológicas, psicológicas, fisiológicas, etc. del consumo) y «sociologizadora»(cuestiones legales, relacionales, culturales, etc. ), acentuándose en los datos la formación «sociologizadora». A la vez, se muestra el dialogismo entre diferentes versiones sobre el fenómeno de consumo, las cuales se activan en contextos específicos de relación donde las personas o actores tienen capacidad agéntica. Se construyen distintos «yoes» (de los informantes y de la investigadora) en cada momento y trayectoria de la experiencia relatada. Al introducir el «yo» de la investigadora en el trabajo de campo (Hertz, 1997; Coffey, 1999) se provoca una problematización de los datos y a la vez, obliga a reconceptualizar ese «yo» o «yoes» y resignificar esos datos. This study is a reflexive exercise based on own experience: an ethnographic study of heroin users carried out in a Barcelona city neighborhood between 1994 to 1997. We will try to demonstrate what reflexive practice is, understood both as a way of making knowledge «objectivable» (rational epistemological issues, and ethical-political issues). The theoretical frame they have been poststructural perspectives. I have carried out 44 interviews and employed 5 fieldwork research reports. The specific aims are: a) to indicate a procedure that would approximate the audience or reader with the particular experience of the researcher, b) to criticise our own production practice of psycho-social knowledge, and c) to explore the «self» o subjectivity in the research process. In my narrative, «sociologising» training discourses (i.e. legal, relational, cultural matters etc. about drugs) have predominated over those which are «naturalising» (i.e. sensorial, pharmacological, psychological matters etc.). Different «self» are formed at every moment and throughout the development of the narrated experience. By introducing the «self» in the fieldwork (both the «self» as well as the «alter»)(Hertz, 1997; Coffey, 1999), I introduce a problemising of the data. At the same time, I reconceptualise the «self» and resignify the data.
